Hablamos del loro o <strong><em>Prunus lusitanica<\/em><\/strong>, que no es solo un \u00e1rbol, sino un superviviente de la <strong>era Terciaria<\/strong>, donde predominaba la <strong>flora paleotropical.<\/strong><\/p><p>Imag\u00ednate que son los <strong>\u00faltimos restos de la laurisilva<\/strong> que cubr\u00eda la zona hace millones de a\u00f1os, mucho antes de que el clima se volviera m\u00e1s seco y fr\u00edo. Mientras otros desaparecieron, esta especie encontr\u00f3 en las umbr\u00edas del <strong>geoparque Villuercas Ibores Jara<\/strong> su rinc\u00f3n ideal para resistir al paso de los milenios.<\/p><p>Es una parada perfecta para entender que la naturaleza tiene mucha memoria; saludar a este loro es, b\u00e1sicamente, saludar a un dinosaurio en forma de
