In the UNESCO Sites of the province of Cáceres, it has been decided that autumn is the new summer – but with far more style and none of the sweat. Welcome to the Biosphere Reserves Month, a display of power in Tajo Internacional and Monfragüe which would make any town festival look like nothing more than a neighbourhood get-together.

This whole wonderful array of activities stemmed from UNESCO’s MAB programme to show that humans and the environment can coexist without throwing things at each other and without Netflix.

So what’s on the agenda? Well, a list full of activities related to the cuisine, hiking, wildlife watching and workshops which are, essentially, a tribute to the UNESCO territories.
