Accessible paths
In UNESCO Sites, hiking is also accessible to people with reduced mobility and the blind. Tajo Internacional, Monfragüe and the Villuercas Ibores Jara Geopark all offer superb, accessible trails.

UNESCO Territories comprises useful options for people with reduced mobility and the blind so that they can enjoy hiking to the full and in complete safety.
The Peña Buraca route SL-CC 62, in Tajo Internacional, It is a 2-kilometre route, fully accessible with benches, seat-of-the-breech supports, guide kerbs and accessible information panels, which starts in Piedras Albas and leads to the archaeological site from which it takes its name.

Also in Monfragüe There are several adapted routes: Arroyo Malvecino and Fuente del Francés have guide posts and information in Braille, each with a compacted platform 500 metres long. And a further seven designed specifically for blind people, which are equipped with Blind Explorer technology. Just as in the Villuercas Ibores Jara Geopark, where this technology has been implemented on a route from the Cañamero visitor centre to the Ruecas Gorge. Enjoy.
