To understand what this whole business of large stones or megaliths is all about, you need to visit the modern Dolmen Culture interpretation centre, a genuine 21st-century burial mound with a passageway that takes you straight into the world of megaliths.

The plan here is pure visual spectacle: projections, displays, information panels and technology to explain how some people moved huge blocks of granite to bury their kin.
