Welcome to Muro Crítico, that festival who decided that some rural villages in the province of Cáceres weren’t going to come away empty-handed. Literally.

Organised by the Cáceres Provincial Council since 2015 and co-ordinated by Jonatan Sojo, the festival has reached 95 towns with over 100 artists and nearly 200 murals in ten years, addressing objectives relating to sustainable development, human rights and rural identity.

The best thing about it is that the villages change every year, so this is a dynamic route, featuring works created by leading national and international artists, such as Mariana Santos, Eloise Gillow, Isaac Malakkai, Brea, Pekolejo or Mots.
